Student Travel

Lifelong Lessons, packed in one Wild Adventure.

We are in need of rising leaders who are resilient, compassionate and courageous. Fortunately, these traits are learnable and often, the Wild is our best classroom.

What tools are our rising leaders being given to stay clear in the midst of chaos, calm under pressure and courageous in the face of fear?

Whether stepping onto the trail or paddling out into the ocean, each student will have an opportunity to practice overcoming challenges and rising in their leadership capacities. While in Maui, student travel may look like Hiking through Haleakala’s 10,000 ft crater, practicing Hawaii’s oldest sport; outrigger canoeing, or surfing. On our trips to New Zealand, trips are often focused on the trail, bringing groups into the wilderness for 7-10 days at a time.

It is on these adventures that students are given framework to recognize their leadership styles, strengths and areas for growth. We practice tools to stay regulated during challenging times and ways to access our inner compass in times of uncertainty. The wilderness brings out our most raw elements of ourselves and when we feel safe to confront these parts; within ourselves and within others, there is a tremendously fertile ground for transformation and growth.

James has been guiding rites of passage and student adventures since 2016 and finds tremendous passion and purpose in this work.
